Proper spectral calibration file generation is critical to evaluate multicolor systems. Once generated, the spectral calibration file is applied during sample detection to calculate and compensate for spectral overlap between fluorescent dye colors. The VersaPlex 6C Matrix Standard consists of DNA fragments labeled with six different fluorescent dyes (FL, JOE, TMR, CXR, TOM and WEN) for use with the VersaPlex 27PY System and is compatible with the Applied Biosystems 3500 and 3500xL Genetic Analyzers.
