RANK antibody (mAb)
for RANK antibody (mAb) (Clone 9A725)Application Notes
WB: 1 - 2 µg/ml dilution
For optimal results, primary antibody incubations should be performed at room temperature. The addition of 0.1% Tween 20 to all Blotto solutions may also reduce background. Individual optimization may be required.
for RANK antibody (mAb) (Clone 9A725)Immunogen
This RANK antibody was raised against a GST-fusion protein containing amino acid residues 326-616 of human RANK.
for RANK antibody (mAb) (Clone 9A725)Buffer
PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
for RANK antibody (mAb) (Clone 9A725)References
RANK (TNFRSF11A, CD265, PDB2, TRANCER) can interact with various TRAF family proteins (TRAF2, TRAF5), through which this receptor induces the activation of NF?B and MAPK8/JNK. RANK and its ligand are important regulators of the interaction between T cells and dendritic cells. RANK is also an essential mediator for osteoclast and lymph node development. Studies of the mouse counterpart suggest that this receptor directly mediates the osteoprotegerin (OPG) ligand (OPGL)-induced oteoclastogenesis in osteoclast precursor cells.

Extracts from 293 cells transfected with RANK cDNA can be used as a positive control for RANK antibody.
Some products may be shipped at room temperature. This will not affect their stability or performance. Upon receipt, unconjugated antibodies may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 years. Fluorophore- & enzyme-conjugated antibodies should be stored at 4°C. Fluorophore-conjugated antibodies should be protected from light. Keep reagents on ice when not in storage; to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, we recommend aliquoting items that will be stored frozen into single-use fractions prior to freezing.
