I?B? antibody (mAb)
for IkBa antibody (mAb) (Clone 6A920)Application Notes
WB: 1 - 2 µg/ml dilution
For optimal results, primary antibody incubations should be performed at room temperature. The addition of 0.1% Tween 20 to all Blotto solutions may also reduce background. Individual optimization may be required.
for IkBa antibody (mAb) (Clone 6A920)Immunogen
This I?B? antibody was raised against a recombinant protein corresponding to amino acid residues 32-291 of human I?B?.
for IkBa antibody (mAb) (Clone 6A920)Buffer
PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
for IkBa antibody (mAb) (Clone 6A920)References
I?B? – NF?B (NF?B p50 and NF?B p65) signaling is controlled to a large extent by the sequestration of the NF?B complex in the cytoplasm by its association with one of the I?B family of proteins. I?B? is phosphorylated at Ser32 and Ser36 (I?B? phospho Ser32,36) by the I?B Kinase (IKK) complex, resulting in the degradation of I?B and the nuclear translocation of NF?B.
for IkBa antibody (mAb) (Clone 6A920)Positive Control
Active Motif's Jurkat nuclear extract (TPA + CI stimulated) (Catalog No. 36013) can be used as a positive control for I?B? antibody.
Some products may be shipped at room temperature. This will not affect their stability or performance. Upon receipt, unconjugated antibodies may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 years. Fluorophore- & enzyme-conjugated antibodies should be stored at 4°C. Fluorophore-conjugated antibodies should be protected from light. Keep reagents on ice when not in storage; to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, we recommend aliquoting items that will be stored frozen into single-use fractions prior to freezing.
