Validated Applications:
IP: 2 - 5 µg per IP
for HA-Tag antibody (mAb) (Clone 3B9)Immunogen
This HA-Tag antibody was raised against a peptide containing multiple repeats of the HA-Tag epitope, YPYDVPDYA.
for HA-Tag antibody (mAb) (Clone 3B9)Buffer
Purified IgG in 70 mM Tris (pH 8), 105 mM NaCl, 31 mM glycine, 0.07 mM EDTA, 30% glycerol and 0.035% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.

HA-Tag mAb tested by IP / Western blot.
Whole-cell lysate (400 µg) from U2OS cells expressing an HA-Tagged protein was immunoprecipitated with 2 µg of either control mouse IgG (lane 1) or HA-Tag mAb (lane 2). Immunoprecipitates were run on an SDS-PAGE gel and analyzed by Western blot using a second HA-Tag antibody.
HA-Tag has been derived from the hemagglutinin protein of the human influenza virus for use as an epitope for the detection and purification of tagged recombinant proteins expressed in vivo. The HA-Tag is a small epitope and generally does not interfere with the normal function of recmobinant proteins.
for HA-Tag antibody (mAb) (Clone 3B9)Positive Control
Immunoprecipitated extracts from U2OS cells expressing a HA-Tagged protein can be used as a control for HA Tag antibody (Clone 3B9).
Bridging Antibody to Improve ChIP, MeDIP and IP
Some isotypes of mouse IgG antibodies do not bind well to protein G-conjugated agarose/magnetic beads, which are commonly used in ChIP, MeDIP and IP experiments. Capture efficiency can be improved by including an anti-mouse IgG bridging antibody because it binds with a strong affinity to both the protein G beads and the mouse IgG antibody. By increasing the affinity of the mouse primary antibody for the protein G bead, the Bridging Antibody for Mouse IgG can help improve the results of all ChIP, MeDIP and IP experiments that use HA-Tag antibody (mAb).
Some products may be shipped at room temperature. This will not affect their stability or performance. Upon receipt, unconjugated antibodies may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 years. Fluorophore- & enzyme-conjugated antibodies should be stored at 4°C. Fluorophore-conjugated antibodies should be protected from light. Keep reagents on ice when not in storage; to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, we recommend aliquoting items that will be stored frozen into single-use fractions prior to freezing.
