LAP2 alpha mAb (Clone 3A3) tested by Western blot.
Detection of LAP2 alpha by Western blot. The analysis was performed using HeLa nuclear extract and LAP2 alpha mAb (Clone 3A3) at a 1:2,000 dilution.
LAP2 ? (Lamin Associated Polypeptide, alpha isoform, Thymopoietin) is a nucleoplasmic protein that oligomerizes and binds Hsp70 and Hsc70. It is involved in the organization of the nuclear structure through its interaction with A-type Lamins (Lamin B1). LAP2 ? regulates the cell cycle through its interaction with the Rb protein.

Active Motif's HeLa nuclear extract (Catalog No. 36010) can be used as a positive control for LAP2 alpha antibody (Clone 3A3).
Some products may be shipped at room temperature. This will not affect their stability or performance. Upon receipt, unconjugated antibodies may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 years. Fluorophore- & enzyme-conjugated antibodies should be stored at 4°C. Fluorophore-conjugated antibodies should be protected from light. Keep reagents on ice when not in storage; to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, we recommend aliquoting items that will be stored frozen into single-use fractions prior to freezing.
