for CXXC1 antibody (pAb)Application Notes
Validated Applications:
WB: 1:500 - 1:1,000 dilution
For optimal results, primary antibody incubations should be performed at room temperature. The addition of 0.1% Tween 20 to all Blotto solutions may also reduce background. Individual optimization may be required.
for CXXC1 antibody (pAb)Immunogen
This CXXC1 antibody was raised against a mixture of synthetic peptides corresponding to amino acid residues 73-90 and 641-656 of human CXXC1.
for CXXC1 antibody (pAb)Buffer
PBS containing 0.05% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
for CXXC1 antibody (pAb)References

CXXC1 pAb tested by Western blot.
Detection of CXXC1 by Western blot analysis. Western blot analysis using CXXC1 pAb at a 1:1,000 dilution against 15 µg/lane of human spleen lysate.
CXXC1 (also known as CGBP or CpG binding protein) is a transcriptional activator protein that binds unmethylated CpG dinucleotides and plays a role in regulating gene expression and embryonic development. CGBP exhibits a different distribution pattern than other heterochromatin-associated proteins. It seems to co-localize with acetylated histones, indicating that CXXC1 is associated with active chromatin.
Some products may be shipped at room temperature. This will not affect their stability or performance. Upon receipt, unconjugated antibodies may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 years. Fluorophore- & enzyme-conjugated antibodies should be stored at 4°C. Fluorophore-conjugated antibodies should be protected from light. Keep reagents on ice when not in storage; to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, we recommend aliquoting items that will be stored frozen into single-use fractions prior to freezing.
