The Maxwell RSC Tissue DNA Kit is a simple, automated method for extraction of DNA from up to 50mg of mammalian tissue using the Maxwell RSC Instrument. The kit contains all the necessary reagents for DNA extraction from tissue and is used with the Maxwell RSC Instrument in a convenient prefilled cartridge format. Homogenized tissue is added directly into well #1 of the cartridges, and purified DNA is ready for analysis in about 45 minutes. Purified DNA can be used directly in a variety of downstream applications such as agarose gel electrophoresis and other amplification-based assays.
