Anti-ACTIVE Caspase-3 pAb
Anti-ACTIVE® Caspase-3 pAb is intended for use as a marker of apoptosis; it specifically stains apoptotic cells without staining nonapoptotic cells. The product includes sufficient antibody to perform 125 immunocytochemical assays (100ul/assay) at a 1:250 dilution.
Immunogen: Peptide derived from the p17 fragment of caspase-3 and has sequence homology in human, mouse, rat and hamster.
Antibody form: Affinity-purified rabbit IgG; supplied in Dulbecco's PBS.
Specificity: Specifically recognizes the cleaved active form of caspase-3 in human, rat and mouse.
Suggested working dilutions:
- Immunocytochemistry (1:250)
- Immunohistochemistry (1:125)
- Western blotting not recommended

Panel A. Three Anti-ACTIVE® Caspase-3 pAb-positive cells (colored arrows). Panel B. Corresponding DAPI-stained nuclei. Note how the cells labeled with Anti-ACTIVE® Caspase-3 pAb correspond with the typical apoptotic, condensed nuclear morphology in Panel B. Protocols developed and performed at Promega.
