The p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR), also known as low-affinity NGF receptor (LNGFR) and p75LNGFR, binds nerve growth factor, brain-derived neurotrophic factor, neurotrophin-3 and neurotrophin-4 with varying specificities. p75NTR plays an important role in neurotrophic factor signaling including neuronal apoptosis. Anti-Human p75 pAb provides a valuable tool for understanding the role of p75NTR in neuronal death. Anti-Human p75 pAb is raised against a recombinant fusion protein produced in E. coli.
Applications (suggested working concentration)
- Immunocytochemistry (1–10ug/ml).
- Immunohistochemistry (1–10ug/ml).
- Immunoprecipitation (1–10ug/ml).
Note: This antibody is not recommended for use in Western blot analysis due to potential for cross-reactivity with the fusion tag on the immunogen.
