Safe, Hands-Free DNA Purification from 1–16 FFPE Samples
The Maxwell® 16 FFPE Tissue LEV DNA Purification Kit is used with the Maxwell® 16 Instrument to purify genomic DNA from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections. The kit is designed to purify DNA from one to ten sections (5um) of FFPE tissue without the use of organic solvents, providing a safe, hands-free alternative to manual methods.
The FFPE DNA purification reagents are provided in convenient prepackaged cartridges, and up to 16 cartridges can be processed simultaneously on the Maxwell® 16 Instrument. The protocol is optimized to yield a final DNA concentration that minimizes the need for concentration or dilution of the extract prior to amplification.
The purified DNA is ready for a variety of downstream applications including real-time qPCR, multiplex PCR, Microsatellite Instability (MSI) Analysis and agarose gel electrophoresis.

The seal length on Maxwell® Cartridges has changed to create a pull-tab feature. The manufacturing procedures and quality-control testing of products have not changed.
