RMP1-14
RMP1-14 is a clone name for a specific rat anti-mouse PD-1 antibody.
The original hybridoma was generated by immunising Sprague Dawley rats with mouse PD-1-transfected BHK cells. A P3U1 myeloma was used as the fusion partner.
Key Benefits
Potential for clearer results in early-stage tumor growth studies | Opportunity to explore impact of lower endotoxin levels | Supports the 3Rs principle in animal research | Viable alternative for diversifying experimental approaches

Isotype Controls
Isotype controls are an essential component of flow cytometry and other immunoassays, serving as critical negative controls to help discern nonspecific background signals from specific antigen recognition.
By matching the primary antibody's class (isotype) but lacking specificity for the target antigen, isotype controls are pivotal in setting the baseline for experimental interpretation.
