Active Motif's MG-63 nuclear extract was prepared from cell cultures of the human osteosarcoma MG-63 cell line. The MG-63 cell line is primarily used in research to identify and analyze osteoblast transcription factor complexes and to study the effects of cytokine and hormone stimulation on integrin-mediated cell-matrix interactions. In addition, these cells are serve as in vitro model systems of osteoblast differentiation and transformation.
