Active Motif's ML-324 inhibits JMJD2 histone demethylases (JMJD2 IC50 = 920 nM). It represses the expression of viral (HCMV and HSV-1) immediate early genes (IC50 ~ 10 M) and abrogates infection. ML-324 represses the reactivation of HSV from the latent state in sensory neurons. It is cell permeable.
