Recombinant NTRK3 (454-825) protein - MyBio Ireland - Active Motif

Recombinant NTRK3 (454-825) protein

Background
NTRK3 (Neurotrophic Receptor Tyrosine Kinase 3) is a member of the neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase (NTRK) family. This kinase involved in nervous system and probably heart development. Upon binding of its ligand NTF3/neurotrophin-3, NTRK3 autophosphorylates and activates different signaling pathways, including the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/AKT and the MAPK pathways. Signalling through this kinase leads to cell differentiation and may play a role in the development of proprioceptive neurons that sense body position. Mutations in this gene have been associated with medulloblastomas, secretory breast carcinomas and other cancers.

Application Notes
This product was manufactured as described in Protein Details. Where possible, Active Motif has developed functional or activity assays for recombinant proteins. Additional characterization such as enzyme kinetic activity assays, inhibitor screening or other biological activity assays may not have been performed for every product. All available data for a given product is shown on the lot-specific Technical Data Sheet.
