Active Motif's Vorinostat (SAHA) is a potent and selective histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor that induces apoptosis in a variety of tumor cell lines. It synergizes with kinase inhibitors to kill CNS tumor cells. It prevents diabetes in a mouse model by immunoregulation and Beta-cell pretection. It is cell permeable.
